CPSA Approvals Approval means an approval of the physician by the CPSA to perform a particular procedure or use a particular technology in a medical office setting. Only a small number of office-based procedures and technologies require specific approval from the CPSA. Approval is based on the training and experience of the physician. These approvals do not necessarily apply to the hospital setting, which is the responsibility of Alberta Health Services. ×
