Old South Maternity Care

Old South Maternity Care was founded in 2013 by Dr. Cheryl Smits, who sought to establish a practice of like-minded physicians dedicated to family-centered maternity care. The clinic is unique for its team of family physicians who have all pursued enhanced skills fellowships in obstetrics and women’s health to provide specialized, low-risk prenatal care. Their mission is to deliver professional, evidence-based, and patient-centered experiences that empower and support patients through their pregnancies and deliveries. With founding leadership practicing since 2007, the team focuses on providing comprehensive care that spans all life stages and transitions.
