Pender Islands Health Care Society

The Pender Islands Health Care Society was established through community determination and generosity, opening its dedicated facility in 1981 after years of resourcefulness. The society's mission is to provide quality, accessible health care and wellness support within a respectful environment of healing. What makes the clinic unique is its "built by the community, for the community" ethos, operating on the unceded territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations. It functions as a central hub that facilitates both primary medical care and various community programs to support the overall well-being of the island.
