RISE Community Health Centre

RISE Community Health Centre is operated by Collingwood Neighbourhood House, a non-profit agency that has served the Renfrew-Collingwood community since 1985. In 2020, the clinic became the first community health centre in North America to be operated by a neighbourhood house, bringing decades of community development experience to healthcare. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for local residents through values of social justice, equitable access, and interculturalism. The clinic is unique for its team-based "RISE" model—standing for Resilient, Integrative, Socially Just, and Equitable—which addresses both medical and social needs collaboratively.
