iCare Virtual originated in the Durham Region through a collaboration with the local Ontario Health Team to provide essential medical access to unattached patients without a family doctor. Their mission is to advance health equity and improve care accessibility for all Ontarians through a grassroots team of experienced physicians and nurse practitioners. The clinic is unique for its hybrid model, which utilizes an advanced digital platform while collaborating with local partners to ensure patients receive both virtual support and necessary in-person examinations.
